Mr Ezra Scott has achieved the rank of Blue Belt in the Zanshin Dojo. This is Rickson Gracie Jiu Jitsu. A blue belt in this discipline routinely requires 2 to 5 years of training to earn. Mr Scott has been training hard the past 2 years with Mr. Silver, Mr. Derrick Reynolds and Mr. Hank Quillen. When asked how he felt about his achievement, Mr. Scott replied “I like to work out and train hard.” Congratulations Mr. Scott on your achievement. Mr. William Spencer has achieved the rank of Shodan. Mr. Spencer has been a student and instructor under Sensei McLain since 1998. A native Nashvillian, he can also be found spending time his his son, installing quality pools, and assisting Mr. McLain with his many day to day operations. No one has passed through the doors of the Kosho School who does not own Mr. Spencer tremendous gratitude for his many years of training. He is an excellent Karate-ka, an excellent father and friend. Congratulations Mr. Spencer.

Mr Scott, while continuing to train and teach as the Chief Instructor and Nidan of James McLain’s Kosho School of Karate, has also been training Ju Jitsu with Mr. Eric Silver of the Zanshin Dojo for a year and a half. This past weekend he competed in their One on One Inter Association Tournament at the Zanshin Dojo. Mr Scott won a Gold Medal, defeating three heavyweight opponents. Congratulations Mr Scott.
